Sunrise, sunset…

I took the first photo on my way to work, and snapped the second one through my car window as I drove home at the end of the day. I wasn’t sure how the second photo would turn out because I basically just pointed my camera towards the sunset – my eyes on the road – and clicked as I drove past the flooded field… 🙂

Rainbow, Barn, and Bay

It was drizzling when I left the house, but I was determined to take a walk along Padilla Bay today – come hell or high water. And I found magic, my friends. As soon as I pulled into the muddy parking lot the rain stopped and a rainbow appeared over the bay…

On my way back from my walk I spied a bald eagle sitting in a tree near the road. I pulled over and snapped a photo and then he took off – and I caught a quick shot of him glaring at me indignantly as he flew to a tree on the other side of the road. (I apologized to him for intruding on his privacy.)
